Founded in 2018 in Trieste, Italy, InSilicoTrials is a pioneering startup in the field of in silico technology, a new frontier in healthcare. In silico technology involves using digital simulation models instead of long processes of animal and human experimentation. In silico tests drastically reduce the time and costs of R&D processes for the production of new drugs and medical devices.
InSilicoTrials is conceived as a task force of passionate life sciences, cybersecurity and digital innovation experts who dream of changing the healthcare sector and improving the quality of life of millions of people worldwide.
In 2021 they selected us to design their new visual identity and corporate website.
Visual identity
The new InSilicoTrials’ logo is obtained by combining a rotated pyramid – which suggests the idea of a conversion funnel – with clear lettering spelling the name of the company.
Pure Black and Pure White, together with Deep Blue, are the primary colors of the visual identity. Pink, Crystal, Peach and Dust are used as the secondary palette.

We chose Bw Gradual by Branding with Type foundry as the main typeface of InSilicoTrials identity.
The Arial, Sans-serif stack is a secondary choice, used for legal documents and in every context where it is not possible to use the main typeface.
Website
After defining the visual identity, we focused on designing a new website for InSilicoTrials, aimed at presenting the company and its technological solutions to potential customers and partners.
