Cybersecurity has become a critical priority for companies worldwide. rev.ng Labs, an innovative company in the sector, has decided to undertake an ambitious project to revolutionize the way reverse engineering challenges are addressed. To achieve this goal, the company has chosen to collaborate with Moze. Here is the process we followed for the creation of the new brand identity, the design and development of the corporate website, and the implementation of rev.ng Hub, a powerful web platform for reverse engineering.
Project Definition
The first step towards transforming rev.ng was an in-depth analysis of the company’s needs and the expectations of its users. Through a co-design workshop, our designers worked closely with the rev.ng team to fully understand the scope of the project and define the key features needed. This led to the creation of a rough concept, intended to guide future development.

Brand Identity and New Website
We designed a new website for rev.ng, along with a restyling of the brand identity. Starting from the redesign of the brand identity, the website was rethought. The goal of the restyling was to create visual coherence among all the brand’s touchpoints, which we achieved by using visual elements such as colors, gradients, and typography, maintaining a tech and modern feel through the use of elevations and transparencies.
Finally, we chose the most suitable tools and technologies to create the new website. Consistent with Rev.ng’s focus in the field of cybersecurity, a technological stack that enables the generation of static HTML code was selected. Specifically, we chose Next.js and the advanced markdown language, MDX. Next.js is a framework based on React, which allows for the benefit of a set of conventions and tools that are becoming, over time, the de facto standard for React-based websites. MDX is a tool that allows those who input and edit the site’s content to leverage the capabilities of React components. The benefit for Rev.ng is complete autonomy in creating content pages from the initial layouts and the design system we developed.
Creation of rev.ng Hub
The key phase of this project was the creation of rev.ng Hub, a powerful web platform that allows users to decompile binary codes quickly and efficiently. To ensure a top-notch user experience and solid technological architecture, we utilized Next.js technology.
Next.js offers significant advantages such as server-side rendering (Server-Side Rendering) and static page generation (Static Site Generation). This has allowed us to create a highly performant, responsive, and easily scalable platform.
Additionally, we integrated the Keycloak single sign-on system. This integration has made the login and authentication process secure and smooth for users. Keycloak is an open-source identity and access management solution that provides advanced authentication and authorization features, allowing users to access the platform securely and quickly.
During the creation of rev.ng Hub, we adopted an agile and collaborative working methodology. This approach allowed us to develop features incrementally, ensuring that each new iteration added value to the final product. We worked closely with the rev.ng team, refining the platform’s features in a weekly call based on their feedback and the needs of their clients.

The result is a highly innovative binary decompilation web platform with excellent UX and high performance. Rev.ng allows users to perform reverse engineering of applications, create public or private repositories, and share their work with other professionals in the field.
