Frequently asked questions
What is your approach to work?
We start every project with a co-design phase, where we work together with the client to translate business objectives into a technical and design concept that will guide the implementation phase. It’s a strategic moment of discussion, where we define a shared vision and outline the project guidelines.
Starting from the plan defined in co-design, we can work in different ways: in full stack projects managing design and development end-to-end; or in design-only projects when the client already has a technical team; or in development-only projects when there’s already a design team.
After launch, we stay by the client’s side to accompany the project’s evolution. Based on needs, we propose ongoing collaborations for growing digital products, lighter maintenance plans for stable websites and e-commerce, or a structured handoff when the client wants to internalize the project and continue development with their own team.

What happens after I send you a request for a new project?
Every new project starts with a conversation. One of the studio partners gets in touch to listen to the needs, ask the right questions and understand if we can be a good fit and how we can help. We’re not self-referential PowerPoint people: we prefer an open discussion, to really understand the context and the most useful type of support.
When the project scope is already defined, for example in the case of websites, e-commerce or software where the problems to solve and how to address them are clear, we can develop a project proposal, with predictable times and costs.
When instead the need is more open — like in broader projects, where requirements and specifications still need to be defined together, often because it’s a new complex digital product starting from scratch — we propose to start with a Co-design Workshop. It’s our structured process to accompany companies and entrepreneurs from concept definition to technical specifications and work roadmap.

Do you also work with startups?
We’ve always worked with startups, but we’re a good fit only if among the founders there’s someone who has already built other startups or has significant experience in the sector. Usually we collaborate when there’s already a first round of funding that allows investing in project startup with the necessary resources. To give a reference, branding projects at Moze usually cost around 15k, while new development projects start from 20–30k and go up to 100–150k, based on complexity and scope of work.
What technologies do you use?
We’ve always had a focus on React and React Native for web and mobile application development, and on Next.js for more advanced web projects. We work full stack with Node.js, MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
For websites and e-commerce we use WordPress, completely custom, and Shopify for online stores.
We’re a development team, but not specialized in infrastructure. When we handle it directly, we use managed cloud solutions like Heroku; alternatively, we suggest specialized partners, for example with AWS focus, when the client doesn’t have an internal IT team.

Do you handle marketing or SEO?
By choice, we don’t handle marketing or SEO. Our work is designing and developing web applications, sites, e-commerce and digital products. We believe in the value of specialized teams, each with their own skills.
Over time we’ve built a network of agencies and freelancers we respect, and that we can recommend from time to time based on project needs: performance marketing, Google, Meta, SEO, digital PR and other communication channels.
This way every project can count on the right partner for go-to-market, keeping focus on what we know how to do best.
